Permalink reekswrath: funeralsauce: anatomicae: MRI SCAN OF A PATIENT FROM HEAD TO FEET actually, these aren’t MRI scan images…this is something a lot more interesting. this is from the visible human project from the mid-90s, which took took two human cadavers (this one being the male, obviously), froze them, then sliced them into extremely thin segments and photographed each slice, creating an explorable, digital version of the human body. tragically beautiful
